We do not handle any litigation, but work hard to help clients avoid the need to engage in litigation.  We also have the ability to supervise litigation counsel for our clients when appropriate.

Denise has a unique combination of talents in the technology and publishing industries in addition to law.

Bar Admissions – Denise is a member of the bar of Indiana and Arizona, as well as a member of the United States Patent & Trademark Office as a registered patent attorney.

Education – Denise received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science-Business from Anderson University with summa cum laude honors in 1995, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University in December 1999.

Professional Background – Denise worked for nearly 10 years as a software engineer for Microsoft, EDS, and other companies before becoming an attorney. She has also authored 8 books about business and technology matters, and currently blogs for the Huffington Post on various business, legal, and technology matters.

Hobbies – Denise is a tech geek who loves learning new things, and visits the bookstore weekly with her husband and daughter. She also loves to travel internationally, and has visited over 30 countries around the globe.

Denise engages with other attorneys on a contract basis when needed to meet client needs.  Denise also has several team members on staff who help her take care of the firm’s clients.
